Buff Bar, Class Suit IV & Instance Fixes
Every buff icon now shows its own time, and debuffs get their own rows above your buffs. War UI Mode settings, including the buff bar position, are now saved for each character. Class Suit IV pieces no longer all need level 141: each piece has its own level, from 142 for Gloves up to 150 for Helmets. Monsters finished off by bleeding or poison now count like any other kill, so instance points always add up and the island teleporters open. Stacked Prize Chest rewards go into your bag as one stack, and your suit and aura look the same to every player. This patch comes with a new launcher: run “Update Launcher.bat” once after it downloads.
Buff Bar
Your own buffs and debuffs, shown above the skill bar.
- From the 9th buff on, an icon could show another buff's or a debuff's time. Every icon now shows its own timeFixed
- A buff that had run out could stay on the bar with a time that did not belong to it, often “22h”. It now disappears when it endsFixed
- Up to 20 buffs and debuffs show at once, counted together. Buffs fill two rows of 10Unchanged
- Debuffs now show in their own two rows, above your buffsFixed
- Each debuff shows its own time and leaves the bar as soon as it endsFixed
- The time in the tooltip when you hover a buff can still stop counting. Moving the mouse off the buff and back shows the correct timeKnown issue
War UI Mode
The War UI Mode window under Settings.
- Your Hide and Dim choices and your HUD opacity were forgotten every time you logged in. They are now saved, and come back a few seconds after you enter the gameFixed
- Each character keeps its own settings, including the buff bar position. Moving the buff bar on one character used to move it for every account on the same PCFixed
- The HUD opacity slider now opens at the value it shows. It used to sit at the far left while the label said 100%Fixed
- The buff bar position label now shows where the bar really is, matching the X and Y sliders. It could say “Default” or show old numbers while the bar sat somewhere elseFixed
- The buff bar sliders keep working when you switch characters with the window openFixed
- War UI Mode itself still starts switched off when you log in. Tick it to turn it onNote
- A character starts from the default settings the first time it logs in after this patch. The buff bar position set in the launcher still applies until you move the bar in gameNote
Class Suit IV
The level you need to wear each Class Suit IV piece, for all four suits: Frozen Elite Guards, Frozen Piercing, Frozen Deep Prayer and Frozen Spell Break.
| Class Suit IV item | Before | Level required |
|---|---|---|
| Vigor Rings and Dreamland Rings | 141 | 141 |
| Gloves | 141 | 142 |
| Blessed Breastplates | 141 | 143 |
| Amulets | 141 | 144 |
| Weapons: Frozen Elite Guards Longsword, Frozen Fiery Spear, Frozen Deep Prayer Scepter, Frozen Spell Break Wand | 141 | 145 |
| Blessed Leggings and Manabreak Leggings | 141 | 147 |
| Blessed Sleeves and Manabreak Sleeves | 141 | 148 |
| Girdles | 141 | 149 |
| Bloodthirsty Helmets and Firm Helmets | 141 | 150 |
| Boots | 141 | 141 |
| Shields | 141 | 141 |
- Pieces you are already wearing stay on. You need the new level to put a piece on again after taking it offNote
- Stats, forging and Class Suit set bonuses do not changeUnchanged
Monsters & Instances
When damage over time, such as bleeding or poison, finishes off a monster.
- A monster killed by bleeding or poison gave no instance points. The party could then never reach the score an island teleporter needs and was stuck. It now gives its points like any other killFixed
- Monsters killed by bleeding or poison now count for quests, drop loot and count toward Battlepass killsFixed
- The kill, its EXP and the Battlepass kill go to the player whose bleeding or poison it was. The EXP was often lost before. Loot and quest credit follow the usual rule and belong to the player who hit the monster first, and their partyFixed
- The body stays for a moment so you can pick up the loot, as with any other kill. It used to vanish at onceFixed
Prize Chest
Prize Chest NPC (Athens or Sparta) → drag a reward into your bag.
- A stacked reward now moves into your bag as one stack. A big stack such as 99 All Suits of Nameplates used to bounce back to the chestFixed
- Items that normally hold 1 per slot no longer spread over many bag slots: 10 of them arrive as one stack of 10Fixed
- The reward goes into the bag slot you drop it on. If that slot is taken, it goes into your first free slotChanged
- A reward never mixes into a stack you already have, and nothing already in your bag changesNote
- Up to 127 come out per drag. If there are more, the rest stays in the chest and the chest shows what is leftNote
- Holy Boxes and Holy Stones still come out one per drag, because each one keeps its own EXPNote
- You need at least 1 free bag slotUnchanged
Aura & Suit
How your suit and aura look to you and to other players.
- Your suit and aura could look different to different players, or switch on and off by themselves, mostly in busy places like towns and wars. Everyone now sees the same lookFixed
- Players who walk up to you later see the same look as players who were already thereFixed
- Gloves and sleeves could show in each other's placeFixed
- Suit shown: your aura setting decides whether the aura showsUnchanged
- Suit hidden, or no suit worn: your gear's aura always shows, as in the original gameChanged
- Hiding your suit turns the aura setting off, as before. When you show the suit again, turn the aura back on if you want itNote
- Your suit and aura settings go back to shown each time you log inNote
